If is an italian citizen he should not have any issues entering USA as visitor.

Hi all,
My insurance company (Progressive) is charging a ridiculously high rate for liability only insurance for my H4 spouse who currently holds a valid permit. They say the rate will go further up when she gets a perm license after passing the road test.
I have heard this issue from other H1Bs who have different insurance carriers than mine.
Have you guys found a cheaper alternative? Insurance agents etc??

As long as your Advance parole is not expired, you should be able to travel with it. If your Advance parole is going to expire around the time you are planning travel; you should renew your advance parole.

An RFE got generated on my wife's 485 application. Our company lawyer filed our 485 applications. Does anyone know who gets the RFE notice? Will it be the lawyers office or us?

Apologies if I should have looked this up somewhere within IV .
Guess it is a simple question.
What does a soft LUD mean ? I have often read that term on the forum.
I at times see that something was updated on my case..."last updated date" but then there is no status update.....for example this happened on my I131 application on Feb 4, 2009
On the I485 I think it is just that they transferred it from one office to another as the status says.

You really have to hunt around to find it mentioned on their site - wierd.
No mention of it's sensor size, presumably 1.5 crop like the D2H. A pricebreakthrough - for Nikon - but I don't see much else of interest. Another DX-format tele-zoom coming. Yawn.
Available "spring 2004"? Seems dumb to put it off that long - so there must be some more development work yet to do. I guess that aligns with PMA, though.

In a recent decision, RUIZ-DIAZ v. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, the court ruled that Petitioners who filed or will file a Petition for Special Immigrant Religious Worker Visa (Form I-360) with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (�USCIS�) on behalf of individual beneficiaries are hereby notified that you or your beneficiary may now file an Application for Adjustment of Status (Form I-485) and, if your beneficiary seeks employment status as an adjustment applicant, an Application for Employment Authorization (Form I-765) even if USCIS has not yet issued a final administrative decision regarding the I- 360 petition. Previously, the I-360 had to be adjudicated before the adjustment package could be filed.
The Court has invalidated USCIS� bar against concurrent filings as an unreasonable
interpretation of the governing statute. Pursuant to an order dated June 11, 2009, USCIS is required to accept as properly filed adjustment of status applications (Form I-485) and employment authorization applications (Form I-765) from individuals who are beneficiaries of petitions for special immigrant visas (Form I-360 (http://www.h1b.biz/lawyer-attorney-1137192.html)), whether submitted concurrently with or subsequent to the visa petition, provided the applications meet USCIS� valid filing requirements.

I have a question on the receipt number. If we get the receipt number, does it mean "The application is accepted" (All the supporting documentation and fee are coorect)?

AILF's Legal Action Center has a class action lawsuit completed and ready to file against the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of State for their unlawful actions in the I-485 / Visa Bulletin mess. The government improperly denied tens of thousands of intending immigrants the opportunity to apply for employment-based visas known as "green cards."
Rumors continue today that the Administration will be announcing a decision regarding their proposal to resolve the crisis. The most recent rumors indicate that the announcement will be made today. However, there are widely varying reports on what the proposed solution will be.
AILF will review any proposals by the Administration to resolve this issue, and will determine the best course of action in light of those proposals. While we remain hopeful that the Administration will take the actions necessary to avoid the filing of the lawsuit, further delays or incomplete solutions will compel us to move forward with litigation.
We thank the hundreds of people - intending immigrants and their lawyers - who have contacted us to be plaintiffs and support the litigation. We received emails and calls from more than 500 people in the last two weeks. Your efforts have enabled us to prepare a very strong challenge to the government's actions.
